Railway museum at former Varshavsky station.

The legend of Russian railways, the symbol of the whole age and simply one of the most beautiful trains, now being exhibited in the museum at Varshavsky station. The first and only high-speed EMU built in the USSR. The 1st consist was built in 1974, 2nd - in 1991, additional end cars - in 1988. Run between Moscow and St. Petersburg (Leningrad) from 1984 to 2009. Was withdrawn on 20 February 2009 and replaced by Sapsan. Some cars are exhibited here, others - in Moscow, some cars were demolished. Plans to use these trains as local expresses weren't realized.
